How our refund works
- Not installed and not used: ask within 30 days of issue and the full price goes back to the card you paid with, not to a store balance.
- In the EU, EEA and UK the order page has a withdrawal button: one tap, then a receipt by email.
- Several eSIMs paid together: each one can be cancelled on its own, and only its share comes back.
- Once the eSIM is on a phone it counts as used. Keep it for a later trip while it is valid; the refund policy has every case.
The rule at each brand
Read on each brand's own help pages on 23 Oct 2026. Brands change these rules, so each name opens the page it was read on.

| Airalo | "Wrong purchase" or "plans changed": Airmoney credit only. Install or not-working issues: Airmoney or card. |
| Holafly | Not activated, within 6 months: full refund to the original payment method. Used: partial, USD 3.50 fee. |
| Saily | Not installed or not activated, within 30 days: full refund. Card or credit is not stated. |
| Ubigi | Website eSIM: only if the QR code was never scanned, asked within 14 business days; to the original payment method. |

| eSIMPal | Unused and not activated, within 30 days: full refund. Card or credit is not stated. |
| Jetpac | Installed counts as used. Refunds for install failures, no compatible phone or no network; to the original payment. |
| Maya Mobile | No data used, within 30 days: full refund less processing fees, to the card or as Maya points. |
Who is most generous
Holafly gives the longest window we found: a full refund to the original payment method for an eSIM not yet activated, within six months. Airalo refunds a wrong purchase or changed plans only as Airmoney credit. Nomad and Maya pay back to the card or as their own points, and Maya keeps processing fees.
Whatever the brand: buy close to the trip, install at home on Wi-Fi a day or two before you fly, and keep the order mail. An eSIM that was never installed is the easiest one to refund.
