Cookies

Essential cookies or storage to run the page. Trip uses local storage on your device. We do not use that to advertise. Order lookup sets an essential cookie for two hours so you can reopen your ticket. Staff desk at /ops uses a session cookie. You can clear Trip by clearing site data. There is no cookie banner: we set no advertising or analytics cookies. A partner link sets one 30-day cookie with the partner’s code so their discount reaches checkout; it is never set in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland. Cookieless Cloudflare analytics never runs in the EU or EEA and can be turned off on /cookies.

What we set

  • Trip stops in local storage on this browser, only when you use Trip. Not an account.
  • Order lookup: a two-hour cookie after you look up your own order, so the ticket stays open. Not set while you browse.
  • Staff desk at /ops: a session cookie after login. Not used on the public catalog.
  • Partner link: when you arrive through a partner’s link (inboxesim.com/r/…), a 30-day cookie named ie_ref holds that partner’s code, so their reader discount is applied at checkout and they get credit if you buy. It holds no personal data. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland it is only set if you say yes when the page asks; otherwise the code only travels in the page address. Pressing Remove next to the code at checkout deletes it.
  • Payment happens on Stripe’s own checkout page, under Stripe’s cookie policy.

Analytics

We count visits and page speed with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, does not use local storage and does not fingerprint you; it only reports anonymous page and speed statistics so we can improve the site. It never loads for visitors in the EU or EEA, or when your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Anywhere else you can turn it off here:

We set no advertising cookies or pixels. If that ever changes, this page will name them and you will be asked first. Processors: Privacy.
