Why Inbox eSIM

What we do differently, each with the page that proves it, and when another brand is the better pick.

Updated 24 October 2026

What we do differently

  1. No app and no account. You pay on the country page with an email; the QR code and a one-tap Add eSIM link arrive by email in about a minute.

    See the mail we send
  2. Refunds go to your card, not to a store balance: an eSIM that was never installed or used is refunded in full within 30 days. In the EU, EEA and UK the order page has a one-tap withdrawal button.

    Refund policy
  3. The Day Pass says what it is: 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. We never call it unlimited.

Day Pass or a GB pack
  4. The Europe pack covers 33 countries on one QR, all 27 EU countries with France included, plus the UK and Switzerland.

    Every country on it
  5. Several phones, one payment: up to 6 eSIMs at once, each with its own QR mail; cancel one unused and only its share is refunded.

    How it works
  6. A gift that arrives on the day you pick: the recipient gets the QR with your name and note and no price; you keep the receipt.

    Gift an eSIM
  7. In Japan our packs reach the internet inside Japan, on NTT docomo, so local sites and apps see a Japanese connection.

  8. Prices in the open: 196 countries from $2.90, and our prices side by side with 8 other brands in 49 countries, last read 23 Oct 2026.

When another brand fits better

You want the lowest price whatever the brand
Some brands on eSIM directories sell below our cost. Our comparison pages show where we rank, including when we are not first. Where we rank
You need a phone number or SMS
Our eSIMs are data only; your own number stays on your main SIM. Some brands sell packs with calls and texts. Airalo on calls and texts
You want a longer refund window
Holafly refunds an eSIM that was never activated within six months, read on its help page on 23 Oct 2026. Ours is 30 days. Holafly refunds
You need data at sea
A travel eSIM works on land and in port. On a ship between ports, only the ship's own Wi-Fi or its maritime network work.
