One eSIM for a Balkans trip

One QR for Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia, Croatia, Greece and Bulgaria. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Slovenia are not on it.

Updated 25 October 2026

What the Balkans pack covers

The Balkans pack is one eSIM for Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia, Croatia, Greece and Bulgaria. It stays on the same QR across those borders, so a road trip from Belgrade to Kotor, Tirana and Ohrid needs one install.

Not on the Balkans pack: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Slovenia. A route through Sarajevo or Mostar needs the Bosnia pack too, and one through Prishtina or Prizren the Kosovo pack. Slovenia is on the Europe pack.

If your phone plan is from the region

Since 1 July 2021 the Western Balkans have been a roaming-free zone for their own residents: a plan from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia or Serbia works across the six at home prices. An EU plan is not part of that: the EU's roam like at home rules do not cover the Western Balkans yet. EU governments agreed in June 2026 to open talks on extending them; until a deal is in force, check your own operator's rates.

Picking a size

  • A week of maps, messages and photos: 3 to 5 GB.
  • Two weeks, or a lot of navigation on mountain roads: 10 GB.
  • Not sure? The data guide has per-app numbers.
